Why Indian men deserve to be single
I am a 22-year-old male from India. Most often I and my friends engage in a discussion/debate that why it is difficult for Indian men to find a girlfriend, compared to the western countries, in general.
Dating comes later, the first step is to approach a woman. And while doing so, Indian men are failing to consider the perception of the Indian women towards Indian men.
Think about women safety in India, why would an Indian woman even trust an Indian male approaching her?
Unfortunate acts like acid attack, dating abuse, domestic violence, eve teasing(cheap comments / cheap messages in social media inbox), forced abortion, forced marriage and marry your rapist law are ubiquitous across India. Would not an average Indian female feel intimidated by the man approaching her.
Let’s dive deeper with some statistics.
According to National Crime Records Bureau(of India), a crime against a woman is committed every three minutes. 65% of Indian men believe women should tolerate violence in order to keep the family together, and women sometimes deserve to be beaten.In January 2011, the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES) Questionnaire reported that 24% of Indian men had committed sexual violence at some point during their lives.According to the National Crime Records Bureau, one woman is raped every 20 minutes in India.

At the end of the day, an average Indian male cannot comprehend what an average Indian female is going through, today.
Coming back to square one, when we as Indian men are approaching a girl, do we know does she even feel sheltered (completely safe) around us?
When we are saying, how easy it is to find a girlfriend in western countries and keep blaming Indian women for their “attitude” against us. Are we even providing a similar healthy environment(safety-wise) to our women?
In India, if women are hesitating to trust the entire male community for legit reasons. Is not this our job to set things alright?
So as an Indian man, before approaching a girl next time, stop for a brief amount of time and do not forget to consider their perception about Indian men and kindly comprehend why Indian women keep rejecting relationship proposals.
